TSN supports the continuing education of orthopaedic and trauma specialists, residents, and allied health workers through lectures, examination preparation, and hands-on skills training.
What TSN's education activities cover
These programmes are organised by TSN's Scientific Committee in collaboration with provincial representatives, with formats and schedules expanding as the Society grows.
Lecture Series
Regular scientific talks and case-based discussions on trauma management, fixation techniques, and complication avoidance, delivered by senior members and visiting faculty.
Exam Preparation
Structured revision sessions, mock vivas, and question banks to support residents and young surgeons preparing for postgraduate orthopaedic examinations.
Cadaveric Workshops
Hands-on cadaveric dissection and fixation workshops giving surgeons direct exposure to surgical approaches and instrumentation in a controlled setting.
Skills & Simulation Training
Bench-top and simulation-based practice for procedures such as external fixation, splinting, and basic life support, suitable for surgeons and allied staff alike.
